About the job
We are looking for a talented and passionate UX designer to join our team. You will play a crucial role in designing and developing digital solutions that help construction work faster, smarter and more sustainably. You will work on the whole design process: from user research and requirements gathering to prototyping and testing. You will collaborate directly with our engineers, designers, and energy experts to turn prototypes into production systems. You will have space to take ownership, make architectural choices, and see your code working on real machines out in the field.
What you'll do
- You translate technical requirements and data into clear designs.
- You ensure that hardware and software work seamlessly together. You think about logical and efficient processes.
- You think about new features and give direction to the development of our platform.
- You sketch ideas, discuss them with the team and work them out in Figma for the developers.
- You immerse yourself in the end-user: you go with them on the construction site, ask questions and discover what truly adds value.
Job requirements
- You are conceptually strong, think ahead about new features and keep an overview of the whole.
- You are assertive and independent, you don't mind being the only designer in a technical team. You make yourself hard for wishes and needs of the end-user.
- Good at quickly visualizing and communicating ideas
- You actively seek collaboration with end-users and developers.
- You enjoy building a new role and developing your own processes. The role of designer is new, so you get space to give the design approach shape.
You'll be a good fit if you have:
- Experience with Figma or similar design tools.
- Understanding of user experience in technical environments.
- Experience with design for complex B2B portals.
